According to a report on Blabbermouth, Coca Cola Zero have spilled (via their Colombian website) that Metallica are about to announce a special date in Antarctica. The metal giants would be joining an event set to take place between December 2 and December 15 on the somewhat uncrowded continent and featuring other, also unconfirmed, performances.

If true, this would shed some light on Lars Ulrich’s recent declaration that Metallica were set to cross “another frontier” in December. We guess we’ll have to see how this one goes…
